Effective Date: August 15, 2020

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern music lessons (“Lessons”) provided by Muse School of Music (“Instructor,” “we,” or “us”) to the student (“Student”) and/or the parent or guardian of the Student (“Guardian”). By enrolling in Lessons and submitting payment, the Student and/or Guardian agrees to these Terms.

1.1 All payments for Lessons, including single lessons, lesson packages, or monthly tuition, are non-refundable.
1.2 Payment is due in full before the start of Lessons unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.3 Accepted payment methods: Major credit cards, Debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, checks, and cash.
1.4 Late payments may result in late fees and/or suspension or termination of Lessons until payment is received.

2.1 Lessons are scheduled at mutually agreed times.
2.2 Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice.
2.3 Rescheduling is permitted only with Instructor approval and availability.
2.4 Lessons canceled without proper notice may be forfeited without makeup or credit.

3.1 Students must attend lessons at the scheduled time.
3.2 Lessons end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival.
3.3 Repeated absences or tardiness may result in termination of enrollment.

4.1 Trial lessons are limited to one per new Student.
4.2 Trial lessons must be scheduled in advance and are subject to Instructor discretion.

5.1 Students must behave respectfully and attentively during all Lessons.
5.2 Students are responsible for handling instruments, sheet music, and materials with care.
5.3 Guardians are encouraged to support home practice and reinforce lesson objectives.

6.1 Students provide their own instruments, sheet music, and materials.
6.2 The Instructor is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to instruments or materials.

7.1 Online Lessons require a stable internet connection, camera, and microphone.
7.2 The Instructor is not responsible for technical issues on the Student’s side.
7.3 Lessons must be conducted in a quiet, distraction-free environment.

8.1 Students who are ill should notify the Instructor promptly.
8.2 Makeup Lessons may be offered at the Instructor’s discretion.
8.3 Safety rules must be followed at all times during in-person or online Lessons.

9.1 Student information is confidential and will not be shared without written consent.
9.2 No photographs or videos of Students will be published without prior written permission.

10.1 The Instructor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Lessons, including personal injury, loss of property, or technical difficulties.

By enrolling in Lessons and submitting payment, the Student and/or Guardian acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
